Associate Professor of Communication
Dr. Robert Dickson has been a professional writer since 1997 and a dedicated educator at The Master’s University since 2002. In 2014, he transitioned to a full-time faculty position within the Communication Department, where he now serves as Chair.
Dr. Dickson’s career includes five years as a sports writer for The Santa Clarita Signal, during which he earned an Associated Press News Executives Council award for sports writing in 2003. In 2006, he contributed to a National Newspaper Association award-winning sports series alongside Signal sports staff. His work has been featured in regional and national magazines and newspapers and has been published three times in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. Additionally, he spent nearly six years as a Grace To You (GTY) writer, further solidifying his expertise in impactful communication and storytelling.
